Listening Skills

Surprisingly, for some professions, the study of “listening skills” takes an entire semester! But in this course, we’ll focus on just a few critical skills that can make the responsibilities of stewardship easier to handle.

When we use the term, listening skills, what we really mean is a set of techniques called active listening. When a steward uses active listening, he/she demonstrates respect for the speaker and also shows a willingness to hear whatever the speaker says.
