Welcome to the PEF Training Center From the President

Secretary-Treasurer Arlea Igoe and I are pleased to welcome you to the online PEF Training Center.

The development of the online PEF Training Center has been a direct result of consistent recommendations from Council Leaders around the state, recommendations from the PEF Training Committee and the resolution adopted by the 2004 Annual Delegate Convention.

The PEF Training Center currently offers three online courses: “Know Your Contract,” "The Many Roles of the Steward," and "Introduction to Robert's rules of Order." These courses let you learn at your own pace, review when you need to, and complete your training over a series of sessions. To take either course, click on the Courses tab at left and select either option.

PEF is prepared to move forward and develop additional training programs in this format. I encourage you to participate in this online training program as either an introduction to the PEF/State contract or as a refresher for more experienced PEF members. Please provide the Education Department with your evaluation and interest in more online training. Thank you for your commitment to a fair work place.
